Lady in the ticket queue...

'No separate Queue for Ladies'... is the line which always catches my attention whenever I move closer to the ticket window in the queue.
The first reaction now for any mumbaikar is to agree with the line written that women should be given the same what is given to the men. Many women also seem to agree to the statement made.
Heres another lookout: Excluding the working class (who thrives on a pass rather than ticket) the counters where even after the statement being made we find small separate queues still allowed/neglected. These queues find in themselves the ladies of families travelling together. These very ladies even are in receipt of angry notes saying why dont men stand in queues and why the previlage. I differ right here. For these families the women receive many previlages such as protection , comfortability of travel (may be a seat to grab or a birth to be made comfortable) ease of travel, and others.
For the men of these families Let there be atleast one advantage they would get by travelling along with the women members..
Women taking the ticket at the window counter would ease a little of the responsibilities. That would be a merit on behalf of women too as to helping out a little in the course of the journey.
Or may be a separate queue for famililes which would be characterised by a minimum number of tickets purchased, would also provide a previlage to travelling families.
A little different perspective to think..
