Tough was swimming.. so is flying..

In the very beginning when man invented the art of swimming, it should be a case of a dream about being able to float on water. To think that a body of about 200 pounds to be able to float, would be an invitation to be a sheer subject of mockery and and certification for ridiculousness. But as proven, dreams do have a potential to make miracles happen. Its purely the inteligence of man to have attained the skill of swimming. As in case of other animals its not god given to man. But still earning due credit, man has learnt it, attained it.
To see that the law of displacement of water can be postulated to hold good for air as well. The volume of water displaced by a body if equals the mass can help it remain afloat. This principle which is used in ships can be the same used to fly. Man increases its movements by say four times to help itself float. May be that same activity if increased many fold can result him float in air too.. So it may be just a matter of power and agility that has limited man to fly. Here the the stories in our ancient puranas come to relevance. Makes me think some times is such a feat so near and achievable??
