What is required to practically please God ??

God is every where.. Gods in everyone.. he Generates, he operates, he Destroys.. man is but at his mercy for everything.. his survival and his very existance.. he is the supreme boss in control of all of us. For the boss at office too we more often try and do things to keep him content with our performance, may be with some previlages, may be with pleasing his personal likes and dislikes. Just because he is incharge of their financial domain, he receives a more affectionate treatment from the subordinates.
The occasional gifts, some pampering, etc do hold some percentage in keeping boss happy.
But as the wise and experience people say, doing the given job satisfactorily brings oneself in good books of the boss. Favoured employee is nodoubt the one who reduces the work load of the boss. This is where the proactiveness and the higher efficiency, better understanding of the requirements of not only our boss but also that of higher officials from the boss, come into view.
Considering on similar grounds the dependency of man to God.
What has he to do to please the one whos entirely incharge of oneself. If we consider the ratio of the different ways to get into good books.. pampering and gifts would occupy a less than 10% ideally with doing his and identifying and attending to boss's areas requirements which would be 80-90%.
analogy many a times works for me.
The pooja, arti, prayers all account only the very small 10% of the job we are to do to please God.
Increase in that domain can actually be harmful if we do not perform in the bigger 80% domain.
so what can be the 80% job we have to perform?? the only thing we need to do is to help him in doing his job.. to protect his creations.. the earth the nature..
To Think .. what is God's JOB?? we have a simple statement that clears it all paritranay sadhunaam vinashayacha dushkrutaam.. "I take birth for protection of the Good and destruction of the Evil".
Man performs God's Job..God is happy..
