Corrupt are not men always but corroded are the social systems

What man needs? and What man wants?...These are two statements people tend to mix up while categorizing men. When it comes to corruption, we all tend to put one and all in the second category with a label that all men who are corrupt have a unsatisfiable greed (want) and hence the corruption.Corruption exists at all levels of or social setup. Be it governmental/non governmental, religious/non religious, political/non political.. none is spared. Be it the top official or the middle class or the lower class.

Thinking about this made me think further about the corrupt to be in the first catagory what men need? WE normally see here in our society that on an average the financial requirement of any man amounts to as huge as 6-8 Lakhs. Every father no matter what profession has to provision for three inevitable things. He has to keep aside 1/3rd of the said amount for his daughters marriage keeping in mind the social taboo/his status/social obligations etc. The second share is to be provisioned for his son's education and career. The third share would be for his/his family's ailments and medication. If this is going to be the requirement for any individual irrespective of his capability, one doesnt remain surprised as to the cause of corruption. A clerk, a engineer, a driver, a CEO of company all have this basic requirement. The corruption we see now with all this thinking is all but a consequence of this problem.
We reduce the NEED of man and we attack the root cause of corruption. Let marriages happen without much expenditure and yet be acceptable, recognised, appreciated by all. Let education be assured without much financial requirement and let the medical expenses be controlled and bearable. We decrease the requirement of man and reduce his need to accumulate money.
Its like rising oneself from a stubborn child state to reach a level of a sage. Stubborn child cannot be satisfied by any physical means unlike a sage who has least requirements and he is happy.
